What you will do:

  • Check the open anthologies list for a suitable title and chapter. If you see nothing that suits your needs, email us with your ideas, and we will try to accommodate you in future anthologies.
  • Book your “Strategy Session” editorial consultation and pay a โ‚ฌ97 deposit. We request this to deter time wasters and freebie seekers. If the editorial consultation indicates a poor fit, we will refund your deposit minus any fees incurred through the payment processing provider. This typically only happens if you pay via PayPal and we don’t have a suitable opening in an anthology.
  • Either schedule an interview, or submit your content that follows the provided outline.
  • Share your participation in the anthology using marketing materials provided on your social media accounts.
  • Create your PubShare account and accept your invitation to the project.
  • Complete your marketing preferences profile.
  • Optionally attend media training events and access supporting materials on the POWER Author Platform.
  • Review your chapter content and submit requested edits or approve it for publication.

You can submit existing works or chapter proposals for consideration for inclusion in an open anthology following these guidelines.

  • Submissions should be original, unpublished work.
  • Completed chapters should be between 5,000 to 10,000 words with up to 10 included images or graphics, which must be your own or you must be able to provide proof of right of reproduction for each image.
  • Chapter proposals should outline your suggsted title, hook, summary, and proposed headings/topics.
  • Please include a brief author bio and contact information including any websites or social media profiles you own.

What does it cost?

While you are free to submit chapters for consideration in any anthology without charge, we are a small hybrid publisher and make no appologies for giving priority to authors who are enrolled in one of our courses or who have purchased a guided publishing package as outlined below.

Submissions received with no package attached will be considered on an as-is basis, and if accepted will receive basic layout and proofreading ahead of galley proofs being provided. Unsupported authors will not be eligible to speak at the book launch event, and will not receive marketing materials or complimentary author copies, although they will still be able to order at author price through PubShare after publication.
